iCAUR Malaysia previewed the iCAUR V23, the brand’s latest all-electric off-road SUV, marking the next step in its expansion into the Malaysian market. The event took place at The Starhill Piazza, following the model’s initial debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025.
According to iCAUR Malaysia’s Marketing Director, Daniel Lai, the new model builds upon the success of the iCAUR 03 by offering improved electric performance, enhanced chassis engineering, and advanced connectivity features. “The V23 is designed for drivers who are young at heart and value a balance of adventure, style, and smart technology,” he said.
Positioned in the C-segment SUV category, the iCAUR V23 combines retro-inspired design with modern electric powertrains. Measuring 4,220 mm long, 1,915 mm wide, and 1,845 mm tall, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase, the compact SUV was designed to balance off-road capability with urban practicality.
The model is available in two configurations — rear-wheel drive (2WD) and intelligent all-wheel drive (iWD).
- The 2WD variant features a single rear motor producing 136 PS and 180 Nm of torque, powered by a 59.9 kWh LFP battery for up to 401 km of range (CLTC).
- The iWD variant uses a dual-motor setup delivering 211 PS and 292 Nm, paired with an 81.8 kWh NMC battery offering 501 km of range (CLTC).
Acceleration from 0–100 km/h was rated at 11 seconds for the 2WD and 7.5 seconds for the iWD, both electronically limited to 140 km/h. The V23 supported DC fast charging at up to 85 kW (2WD) and 104 kW (iWD), while AC charging was rated at 6.6 kW. A 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allowed users to power external devices directly from the vehicle.
Built on a chassis featuring MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear setup, the V23 aimed to deliver a comfortable yet composed drive on mixed terrain. The 2WD variant came with 19-inch wheels and 255/55 R19 tyres, while the iWD used 21-inch wheels with 265/45 R21 tyres.
Inside, the cabin featured a minimalist yet functional design, highlighted by a 540-degree Transparent Chassis Camera, rotary control knobs, and a high-roof layout that enhanced visibility and headroom.
Safety equipment included a Level 2 ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking.
That being said, the iCAUR V23 is scheduled for official launch in Q4 2025, with estimated prices between RM145,000 (2WD) and RM155,000 (iWD). Bookings opened during the preview event.
iCAUR Malaysia also confirmed plans to expand its national presence with 18 sales outlets and nine full-service centres by the end of 2025, including operations in Sabah and Sarawak.
The iCAUR V23 was showcased to the public from 29 October to 2 November 2025 at The Starhill Piazza, Kuala Lumpur. The event featured skateboarding and dance performances, along with the iCAUR V23 iFUN social media contest, offering visitors a chance to win exclusive merchandise and prizes.
