2026 Proton S70 is the third model to switch over to the 4-cylinder i-GT engine (the new Saga also has the same engine but without turbocharging). Besides the powertrain change, there are also updates to the exterior and interior styling, digital connectivity, and safety assistance systems. Visual changes on the exterior are the integration of LED headlamps and Daytime Running Lamps.
